This shrink pot made from alder, with a snug, twist-fit lid made from beautiful elm burr.
Fully food safe, this pot has been gently finished with milk paint.

Shrink Pots are made by hollowing a log or branch and then fitting a base. The magical this is, if you hollow the log out whilst it is green, cut a groove for the base to fit and put a loosely fitting dry base in then the pot shrinks on to the base making a nice tight fit.
